Hello all, I have a 1994 Dodge Grand Caravan with a 3.3L engine and supposed to have the 4 speed automatic. I just got this on the road the other day and the check engine light came on. I checked the codes with the key and counted flashes and got a 12, 32, 55, now I know that 12 is a usual start for a chrysler car and 55 is telling me it is done. So I came inside and fired up trusty AutoZone.com and started looking in the online manual. There is no Code 32 listed for a 1994. So now I am stuck. I can tell you that when it is cold it will drive fine until it tries to shift into overdrive. Then it acts like it wants to shift but just stays in drive. If press the OD off button it does fine for a while. Then it will downshift to 1st and will just stay there. I don't know what is going on with it. I know the tranny has been changed and suspect that it was repalced with a 3 speed model. I will have further investgation on that soon. Anyway any help for me would be great Thanks to all

 

Code 32 is a EGR system failure.
