why? maybe you should also toss in some speed sensors, shift position switches and a tcm and tcm relay, then you got all the electrical stuff covered. if it still dont work maybe go on the internet and find yourself a real scanner. i sold my drbii scanner on ebay a few years ago for $200 i used the money twards a snapon solus because the drb2 only went to 1995 and wasnt obd2 plus i work on other stuff besides chrysler

hey theres no need to be a smart alec about this. and you know not everyone has a pile of money lying around to just buy a scanner tool. I picked up a used shift solenoid for $60 with the option to return if it didnt fix the problem.

Hi drummer1279
Did you get my PM to you? The reason the dealer techs look at you so stupid and a lot of other techs will too, is because one they don't look up TSB's or not old enought to have worked on the early mini vans.

actually there is im trying to make a point, you can throw parts at it all day and have more $ stuck into it than it would have cost to buy a good used scanner, get it diagnosed correctly the first time and saved alot of screwing around. besides once you have a scanner dont u thing ud use it again and again and again? do you own a big screen tv? if so why? get my point? did you get new gaskets for the solenoid pack? that's another expense you'll need to spend. besides im fairly certain this isn't your problem. but if it does fix it more power to you.
