thats wierd cuz every 90 dynasty i seen has a driverside bag. so i did some searchin just to beshur and im not finding them ever not having one in 1990

 

I know for a fact my 1990 did not have an airbag.. I live in Canada, not sure if that makes a difference, but maybe it was made up here.
There was no airbag in mine because in the centre of the steering wheel, they had that Chysler pentastar made of glass. here a pic of the pentastar.

So i could tell by looking at the steering wheel on any Chysler product at that time , if it had a Airbag.
Can you imagine if the airbag went off, wearing a Chysler pentastar on your forehead for the rest of your life..haha

I've seen the first generation air bags on higher end cars, had the pentastar plastic emblem, which was quickly removed when it blew off and cracked people in the head. and 1990 was when they did it. all searches I did only show airbag on 1990 dynasty's

I had the Dynasty 16 years i would know if there was an airbag installed in that car, and it had nothing.. zippo!!
Maybe out of the million they sold i had the only one..LOL

hay ricky i done some more cehcking and even found a dealer flyer from 1990 and everything says that air bag was standard equp on the dynasty in 1990 i even found some recalls for the front sensor. idk but may be yall didnt know it had a bag cuz she never got recked. but all yalls gotta just quit flappin the old jaws and get her fixed cus all this bs aint getting nothing done.

 

I have been around cars along time, when i bought the mini van, i knew right away, before the light came on, that it had a airbg especially when u see on the passenger dash and steering wheel srs airbag.. thats a good sign it has one...lol

The Dynasty had none of this and like i said before, it had the plastic penastar on the steering wheel Chrysler would not put this in the centre of the steering wheel with an air bag in it.. thats just crazy.. do you think they need another law suit??

You can look up all the info you want, i had the car 16 years, i know what it had for options.. i bought it new new.. anyways i am out of here not replying again too this post.

i chekcked with my chrysler parts guys and hadem pull up some parts for this car and every thing says it only come with airbag i asked the older guy bout that embelm and he siad the first bags had them but they got pulled cuz people had got wacked buy the star.
shopkey5 only shows wiring diagrms for airbag no digrams for non-airbag cars. if i run yalls vin thru chrys we can see if that car was a freak of nature?

 

My airbag light is on because of open circuit at the passenger side squib. When trying to narrow the problem down everything checks out. The light usually comes back on in a week. They suggested spending 1300$ to replace the passenger side airbag to see if that helps...I said no thanks.

As to "jepordizing" my passenger that is debatable. It's my wife's van so that's usually me in the passenger seat :-)
