94 Caravan 3.0L Speedometer Problems.
Okay, so I changed the Gear with a brand new one from the dealer, Still no luck, Speedo works for the first 5min, then cuts out. What else could i be missing.
Swapped out the computer
New Speed sensor
New Gear for speed sensor.
also replace the dashboard computer (PCM and BCM)
Could the console be going bad on me ? I also have a spare one , but don't really feel like tearing the dashboard apart to change it.
Also, could the gear inside the Transmission that hits the speedo gear have gone bad on me ?
Only other thing i could think is, The wires in the wiring harness have gone bad...
Any one have the pin outs at the computer so i can run 3 new wires ?

gear in the transmission is the axle shaft and it's metal. Again why are you throwing parts at it instead of using proper diagnosis? If you had a real scanner, you could just plug into the data connector and read off the scanner what the PCM is seeing from the speed sensor. The problem solving logic is: if the pcm is receiving a good signal then the problem is between PCM and Cluster, if the PCM loses signal, then the problem is the sensor to PCM. You could also use a DVOM to measure voltage created with the speed sensor back probing the leads into the PCM harness for speed sensor circuit. Oh and do you need a clue on how you can do this without moving the vehicle?
dont look like nobody is gonna help the man wiht pin info so heres what i got 47 or/wite wire is sig wire from senser. pin4 is sig return ground wire for the sensers and pin 7 is orange and is 8v to sensers. so if i was fixin yalls car id use the drill like the man say then use a meter to see whats at pin 47 probe that wire then see what happens.
The fact of the situation is that the sensor output wire is dedicated, the low voltage supply is spliced as is signal return. But I think I gave more than enough ways to diagnose the problem without hacking the wire harness... and then he gets into a 'tizzy'
