I have a 1991 grand caravan 3.3L AWD and recently the speedometer and odometer stopped working and i need to fix it to pass inspection. I have already replaced both input and output speed sensors, checked both plugs for continuity, checked the speedometer moter itself and it is good. Still not working. Any ideas or steps i should take to diagnose something else as the problem would be much appreciated. Thanks

 

1993 was the first year the speed sensor was also the output sensor. The early a604 trans (1989 to 1992) had a speed sensor. You will find the speed sensor on the all wheel driver unit. So you really have three sensors.
