Oil light flashing
i have a 2000 grand caravan with the 3.8 and when i am slowing down to turn or stopped at a stop sign/stop light my oil light starts flashing. but when i push the gas the light goes off. i dont know what to do
is this the switch ur talking about? http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...searchText=oil
if so where is it located on the van?

Sounds like the engine RPM is low or lower than normal when the light flashes?
How many miles on the engine? How many miles on the oil and filter? What type and weight of oil is in the crankcase? Is it a name brand oil?
Hopefully it is an electrical issue (switch, etc.) and not a mechanical issue such as oil pump pressure relieve valve problem, oil pump problem or excessive oil passage clearance (bearings?) problem.
if the switch is good and a direct reading, known good mechanical gauge confirms low pressure at idle and less than desired at off idle speeds, a "cheap fix" would be put fresh oil and filter on and re-check. If new oil and filter doesn't help, you might think about a thicker weight/higher viscosity oil
