Default '93 Caravan change power adapter

My 84 year old mother has a nice '93 caravan. She drives so little though that her battery often goes dead. I thought I would try one of those solar trickle chargers only to find out that both her power outlets only work with ignition on. The owners manual says if you would like to change this take it to your dealer. I've looked for obvious ways to do this without success. It seems with the newer Caravans it's just a matter of moving the fuse but there are no empty slots in her fuse box. Anyone know how to do this? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

The front cigar lighter outlet on a '93 caravan should be wired to battery power off of fuse 23.

Sorry Tizzy. Having trouble understanding your answer. I want to change my power outlets from just being on with the ignition to being on all the time. What do I need to do?
Thanks

Welcome to DF
You really want to keep it the way it is,Because you may leave something plug in and drain the battery.

the cigar outlet that is in the dash is wired to constant battery power already. You shouldn't have to switch anything. The fuse for the cigar lighter is fuse 23 and is fed from the battery.

Error alert! I greatly apologize. It is a 1999 Grand Caravan. Auto is 80 miles away and I remembered incorrectly. It's an age thing.
Master Tech. I do not want to leave it the way it is. My 84 year old mother does not plug anything into it but I do want to plug a solar trickle charger into it.
Tizzy. I apologize for the error. Hope you didn't waste to much time on me. Per manual and my testing the '99 is not connected directly to the battery and the manual says the dealer can change it.

OK, let's try this again. In '99, the relay for the power outlet is in the PDC, that is the fuse block that is under the hood by the battery. They changed the PDC mid-year so you can have on of 2 different designs. You will have to look at it to see which you have, but the purpose of the relay should be labeled on the cover. If it is a full sized relay, which means it is approx. 1" x 1" square, there is a relay you install which is basically a jumper wire that will make them battery fed all the time. the Chrysler part number for the relay is 82301039 and I checked, they are still available from the Detroit depot. If you have the later build and the relay is smaller, let me know, I will have to do some more digging.

Tizzy. Thank you, thank you!! I really do apologize as I was thinking you didn't know what you were talking about when it was I that was the stupid one. Glad I verified the year before I said anymore. It will be at least a week before I get up there but you have given me some great info to start with. Can you possibly tell me the number or the name of this relay the way it might be labeled in the lid? I didn't notice any labeled for the power outlets but didn't really look at the relays that close? I think the fuse is labeled "power outlets and acces".
Thanks again

It is labeled "cigar lighter / accessory".

Thanks again. I suspect I will be successful now. Will try to let you know in a couple of weeks how it goes.
