Default Caravan sport exhaust

Just got a 2000 sport with a 3.8

If i remove the rear rez and replace it with a pipe it should (hopefully)

sound better than stock.

Has anyone done the van exhaust mod.

I know it's a van, but don't want it to sound like eeryone elses.

Apon further looking, i think i'll try removing the exhaust and replacing the muffler with a 1

in 2 out rez i have from my 3.5 concord, adding twin tailpipes exiting out the rear behind the wheels like an early turbo with duel hemi (300c) tips.

I did what you're thinking of. If you haven't already done it. I took off the resonator and switched to a Thrush muffler.

Inside the van, it was too loud with an irritating drone. It made conversation inside the van more difficult. Outside the van, it definitely sounded nice.

Whether the increased interior noise is worth it or not will depend on your age I bet. If you're a teenager, you may be fine with it. At 45 years old, it wasn't worth it for me and I went back to stock.

i was thinking on doing the same mod on mine as well with a 1 in to two out.. but using a cherry bomb or flowmaster for a camero or firebird.. although sacrificing spare tire.. but i know it would have a nice sound.. and won't be to loud inside the cab..

I always remember someone posting on another forum that he removed the resonators on his supercharged Bonneville and he said it wound up sounding like an oversized moped.
