Just got my 2007 back from the shop today. Was burning 5 quarts for every 3000 miles. I read this forum and heard people only telling the dealer a quart every 1000 miles. Gotta exaggerate more than that people. Anyway, they performed a cylinder leakdown test and the rings collapsed. The replaced the rings, connecting rods, and all gaskets. Hopefully I can get at least another 75,000 out of this thing. The drivetrain warranty would have ended at 80K so perfect timing. The radiator needed replaced at the same time and that one was on me. So I guess I'm part of the cult now too in terms of this questionable engine. It does have more power. Hopefully it stays that way.
