I was looking to replace my Rear Wiper Blade on my 2008 Dodge Caravan. I purchased a 16" ArmorAll Edge Blade to do so, is there a trick in removing the blade that is already there? Is it even possible to do so with this or am I SOL?

REMOVAL

1. Pivot arm cap upward.
2. Remove wiper arm nut.
3. Using a suitable 2 jaw puller, separate the wiper arm from the pivot.

I am going to give that a shot - with that being said is the rear wiper blade on the 08 caravans proprietary? Or can we install 3rd party like the ArmorAll Edge Blades?

 

to remove just the blade, stick a screwdriver between the arm and the blade and pry the blade away from the arm. You'd have to compare the old blade to the new one but I'm betting for the time being, your stuck buying a factory blade. Let me know, don't see much aftermarket items at the dealer.
