Well now that its kinda warm here in canada, sask 12c...my van is now overheating....the coolant is full and the overflow tank is over max when at max HOT temp...also the fans r going non stop really fast!

Now when i have the heater on low fan speed the temp returns to normal but when i turn on the heater fan the temp sky rockets....

HALP! summer isnt even here YET!

 

The thermostat maybe stuck close. recommend to remove the t-stat and inspect. This a common problem with the 3.0 engines.

 

well strange thing is i replaced the thermostat like 3months ago....might have been a dud i guess...shud i use gasket maker instead of the actual gasket when i replace it?

Ill have to wait till i get paid going to also do a rad flush while im there...will it hurt the van if i drive it with the heater on to keep it from overheating?
