I have a 2008 Grand Caravan. The driver's side back door has a mind of it's own and sticks 7 out of 10 times while trying to open and 8 out of 10 tries it will bounce back open even when there is no obstruction. Has anyone else had this issue or have an idea what I could do to remedy this? There's no science as to what makes this happen so the dealer looks at me like I'm crazy when I've asked them about this. Any advice is greatly appreciated...thank you in advance.

 

If your vehicle is under warranty, you can go back to the dealership to have them check on the TSB for sliding door. There was one from end of last year released to fix the majority of sliding door false reversals.

 

Thanks for info...I have to go by there to check on the AC discharge line and will ask them about this again.

Forgive my ignorance..."flash update?" When I see this I think about my Adobe software and I'm sure that's not what you meant lol.

 

The dealer can do software( flash ) update, on all of the controllers for any of the cars, van and trucks. The dealer gets their software update over the internet thru chrysler.
