Default Help with Part Identification

I have a 2009 Caravan 3.3l. I have developed a crack/hole in a a/c line. I see all kinds of oil around the end of the hose where it transitions to the metal part of the hose. The hose goes from the top of the compressor to the condensor, hose can't be longer than 18" or so. I think it is the discharge hose, but I can't find a diagram to double check. Am I on the right track? Also when I replace this hose, it is something I can do relatively easy, and then plan to take it to an A/C shop to have an Evac abd Recharge, am I missing something here? Thansk for the help in advance.

2009 Caravan? Wouldn't this problem be covered under the warranty? Why not have the dealer service shop handle?

Welcome to DF
This is a common problem with the 2008 thru 2009 minivans. There is a updated hose. I don't know if you are still covered under your warranty.
