Default Just Got an 02 Gnd Caravan, Have Question

I found a clean tight one for $5k w/76k miles and meticulous maintenance records. They are the 2nd owners after it did 7,948k as a rental. Garage kept.

Thanks to this board I learned lots and when looking at the records I seen lots of good news.
The fan blower resistors have been done over the years.
The AC compressor is recent, water pump, thermostat and housing, alternator and the list goes on. I was glad to see the stuff had been done. Otherwise I would have been waiting if you know what mean.

Its a white sport w/blue cloth. It has the 3.3 w/drum rears and steel wheels. No fancy stuff like electric doors but it does have key-less entry, home link, rear AC (ice cold) with dual controls and an after market JVC AM/FM CD unit.

Everything works. The ride is tight, smooth (new Goodyear's) and quiet. The trans fluid has no odor and it shifts nice. I like how private owner motors are not detailed and one can do forensics.

My only eyesore is the door handles have the scars from female fingernails and rings.

What is it going to take to get white ones? How are they removed?

REMOVAL
Roll door glass up.
Remove the watershield as necessary to gain access to the outside door handle. Through access hole at rear of inner door panel, disconnect Vehicle Theft Security System (VTSS) switch connector from door harness, if equipped.
Disengage push in fasteners attaching VTSS switch harness to inner door reinforcement bar, if equipped.
Disengage clip holding door latch linkage to door latch (OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLE).
Remove latch linkage from latch.
Disengage clip holding door lock linkage to door latch.
Remove lock linkage from latch.
Remove nuts holding outside door handle to door outer panel.
Remove outside door handle from vehicle.
Has far as the handle, you should be able to use one from 2001 thru 2007, they are the same body style. I would say dealer.

Thanks, I'll figure it out perhaps. Heh! You got pics? Does the inner door panel have to come off?

Maybe I'll try polishing first. I have done interior work before on other type vehicles. And it seems no matter how careful one is it never seems to go back together as nice.

How are these 02 vans about that? I know GM had one-way push in fasteners (sphincter like) that had to be replaced because they had to be popped out.

All four handles have suffered this woman's fingernails and rings.
