I have a 2004 Grand Caravan SXT, Anniversary Edition. I just purchased a used ABS control module (CAB). Is this a relatively easy part to install, or should I take it to the shop? Thanks.

 

REMOVAL
Disconnect the battery cables.
Remove the battery
Disconnect the vacuum hose connector at the tank built into the battery tray.
Remove the screw securing the coolant filler neck to the battery tray.
Remove the battery tray (Pull up on the CAB connector lock and disconnect the 24–way electrical connector (CAB Connector Lock).
Disconnect the pump/motor connector from the CAB.
Remove the screws securing the CAB to the HCU (CAB Mounting Screws)
Pull CAB straight forward off HCU.

 

It's a pain in the rear, so jump in, the waters fine.

 

If your jumping in the water and you feel a pain in the rear -Your doing something wrong! LOL


I know - find deeper water !
