I always use a mopar filter on all my cars and truck. Oil is your choice.

No it doesn't. Factory said if you have records of your service's, it doesn't change or void your warranty.

not sure if you understood fully. what i mean not like taking it to another shop like midas, or oil changes to do the work. Me actually buying the oil myself and going to replace it myself. (ive done this for all vehicles ive had so not a stranger in changing oil) will this void my warranty? as long as i keep receipts i bought a filter and oil?

I was always told that as long as you buy the right spec oil (for my van is 5w 20) and filter and you keep the receipt for your purchase and a log for your maintenance you should be fine,
now if you don't follow the recommended oil change times for the manufacture and push the limits that Mobil 1 or other synths say for the oil changes, then you may have a problem

I personally do my own oil changes using sythic oil mopar filter, I change my oil every 3000 miles, to me oil is cheap insurance against future problems, I drive around 24000 miles a year, so every 2 months I am changing my oil,

now I do not know if you have to use Mopar filter or not, that is one thing I have not been sure of, so I use it to be safe

I have my oil changed. I can get it done way cheaper than doing it myself. We only charge $21.95 at my dealer for an oil change, I can't hardly buy the oil and filter for that.
