Have tried fuel filter, O2 sensor upstream, new plugs
It takes a few tries to start then will run but a little sluggish after it's
running for a while, back fire every now and then

 

Welcome to the forum, sorry for the delay. First, check the fuel pressure. If it is low, it will give you a lean condition. You can see both of the addaptive fuels are locked rich. If the fuel pressure is ok, check for vacumn leaks or leaks in the intake gasket where unmetered air can get into the engine. With the hard starting, I'm guessing fuel pump issue.

 

Fuel pump yea!!!! I kinda had a hunch but with the cost of a pump i didn't
want to pull the trigger. But after your post it made me more confident that it might be. Thank goodness it was such a stress relief.

PS dont listen to autozone, fuel pump was like last on the list of things they said.
