Default 2002 Caravan help

I posted last week concerning the 3.3 in my caravan running rough, since I have posted, the computer has been replaced, EGR valve, and the Catalytic converter as well. The van is still running rough, it says on the code reader, that the fuel mix is rich, also, the new converter is running cherry red, any clues as to what is causing this to run this way? the auto parts guys suggested running a bottle of Heat through it in case of water in the gas line, I also changed out the plugs, probably the 4'th set in as many weeks too

I got an idea what's wrong but without me doing a test procedure, I came up with, i'd only be guessing.

water will NOT cause hot exhaust and with most gas having ethanol added, water in the gas is pretty rare as compared to 25+ years ago.
spark plugs won't cause the hot exhaust.
could be you need new injectors or the fuel pressure is way to high (but I doubt that also).

sounds like instead of throwing parts at it and guessing, you need someone of quality repair background to have a look at it. after all, if you personally was really sick, would you go on the internet hoping someone would diagnose your problems or would you see the doctor?

I agree with sapporo
It maybe time to take the van to a shop. They may have the tools to find the problem that you are having. We can only recommend what the problem could be, it may fix the problem, but then again it may not.
