Default Auxiliary Transmission Cooler Question

after hitting a deer last month, I had to replace the radiator and fan assembly... among a few body parts. I noticed that the van had an Auxiliary Transmission Cooler on the front side of the AC Condensor. I don't believe that my van had lines going through it though. I believe it just ran lines into the nipples on the radiator. Picture below is the old radiator, new one looks identical (picture at bottom)

Oh, it's a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan.

Is there a special means of connecting the Auxiliary Cooler? Special hoes? or just a standard hose?

you can just ignore it or install if you want. all you need is 5/16" high pressure hoses (NOT regular fuel line).

I would install new lines for the trans cooler. It will help to keep the fluid from getting too hot.
