My window sometimes goes up and down slow then stops. Sometimes it works normal. Sometimes it comes down normal then stops.

To get it to start back up I usually can hit the panel toward the bottom of the door or hit the window on the top of the pane to get it to start.

Will putting lithium grease on the rails work or am I looking at a regulator or motor?

You may want to replace the regulator and motor.
