I have a 98 Caravan and the odometer light stays on even when the Van is off. If I turn my headlights on the odometer light goes off. I was wondering if anyone can help me figure out what may be wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Are there any other lites staying on too?

 

No other lights. Just the odometer light.

 

I have never seen this problem,Here is a couple of ideals. Ck the BCM for any codes. The ignition key in sense going to connector 2 LB wire pin#4, The ignition could be feeding voltage to the BCM and the also controls the cluster.or connector 4 pins #8 and #30 OR wire plugging into the back of the cluster E2.The headlamps are also controlled by the BCM too. But i would have the van ck'ed for codes first.
