i just installed a jvc head unit it my 97 dodge grand caravan and it sounds great but only problem is when i go to turn the ignition over it wont start and all the dash lights interior lights and parking lights just keep flashing, could it be some kind of safty switch that this black clip was connected to on the back of the factory stereo frame? i need some major help here guys i dont wanna have to stick my original stereo in

 

yea that lil black wire was part of my problem, the other half of my problem was i never realised there was once an alarm in that van, had to flip the switch while the key was turned in order to get it to turn over thanks anyway guys
