[4th Gen : 01-07]: 2005 Caravan Intermittent Heater Problem

The heater in my '05 Grand Caravan sometimes blows hot and sometimes blows cool. It hasn't overheated and the temp gauge has remained pretty consistent (right in the middle between H and C). I haven't seen any coolant leaks. I've read some posts for similar problems that suggest it could be a bad thermostat, but wouldn't that cause it to overheat?
It could be the thermostat. I had a problem like that. The heater worked fine until i started driving, and then it would be cooler. Replaced the t-stat and the heater worked fine. The reason was the t-stat was sticking in an open position.

I replaced everything n I still have have hardly any heat the heat gaguge goes up n dwn start to go to over heating but then drops down to the 3rd red line then goes back down and still has no heat
