2003 Grand Caravan. 3.3L. Lately, more so in the morning, the van turns over slowly. It starts, but it seems the starter itself seems slow and laboured. I checked battery voltage - was just running for a few minutes prior and it was 12.6. No load test done and nothing else checked.

Could it be the battery? Starter maybe? Where to start? It started this about 1-2 weeks ago without warning.

I would always start with battery,before thinking about the starter. It maybe time for a new battery.

 

I'm hoping that's it. Easier to get at...

Any inherent known problems with either?
