My wife has a 2000 Caravan she wants to convert her 2nd row bench seat to captains chairs. Has anyone done this? How much is involved ,is it even possible without spending a fortune?

I haven't heard of anyone converting to captains chairs. But i am sure it maybe a lot of work.

 

I think you mean replacing the middle bench with the buckets.

Just get some from a junkyard they should just go right in.

I have a set extra, but i'm in Nova Scotia.

Ive pulled the 2nd row buckets from mine and put in the middle bench from the wifes van with the baby seat all worked fine.

 

I'm in a similar situation. I have a 2004 caravan with captain seats and want to change to bench seats. I'm trying to find out which year(s) would fit into my caravan

 

I haven't been in my mother's Caravan lately, hers came with bucket seats, and I belive there are 2 tracks for EACH seat (4), my 2000 G Voyager came with bench seats, and have only 2 tracks total, instead of 4. In other words, I think you can go from bucket to bench, but not the other way around. The other 2 tracks may be under the carpet, Might be able to tell from under the van.

 

Does anyone know where I can locate captains seats for my husband 2007 dodge ram 1500.

 

You can always do the dealership or a junkyard. If you want aftermarket and/or custom, you should probably ask the good folks at the Ram forums - this is the Caravan forum.
