Default Disable horn chirp when remote starting?

I leave for work early in the morning and I am sure my neighbors do not appreciate the horn chirp when I start my van from inside now that it is colder. Is it possible to disable it??

Welcome to DF
Do you have the owners manual? If you do the it may tell you how to disable it. If you don't have a manual. let me know and i'll find out.

Yeah, I have the manual but it doesn't say anything about disabling the horn chirp...just how to use the start button.

Then the dealer may have to disarm the horn chrip, Is the remote a factory install? If it is, i would have the dealer look at that too.

Yeah, it was factory installed. I am due for an oil change soon so I will ask about it then. Thank you for your help!
