the picture is 5 wires with 2 screw on support which look like a plug more than a resistor. I'm assuming the resistor is behind those wires.

and when you take the unit out you have a resistor. I don't think it's really all that hard

I will do that first things tomorrow. So, incase it doesn't work. What other things should I consider checking, before stripping down the blower? Just hope the resistor is the issue.

with a multimeter you should be checking the power to the circuits.

now if you have ANY speed from the blower motor and there is no noise, then it should be obvious the motor itself is fine.

and when you take it apart, don't be supprised when the connector is melted to the resistor and they won't come apart, it happens all the time.

Well, I'm sure surprised. It's not just melted but one of the pin is broken as you can see in the picture. So what is behind panel walls? Since that broke, I will need to replace that.

The part with the broken tab is the resistor from the picture you will have to replace the wire harness also.

Thanks for the diagram. The 2 screws is not a phillip nor flat head. It looks like riveted it. Now, I'm gonna have to find out how to get it out and probably go to junk yard get for a new used socket/plug.

The rivets do not come out you insert a flathead screw driver under the outboard side, read the removal instructions and reference the picture under the instructions.
