condenser leak effect tranny coolant?
06 grand carvan 3.8--If i ever experinece a condenser leak enough to leak refrigerant, will that also cause a tranny fluid leak through the condenser since the tranny lines interface with the condenser?[COLOR="Red"]
I would agree, but went to dodge dealer to get a print out of transmission cooler lines and where they coonect and specifically says "Cooler, condenser and trans cooler and igves part number 04677509aa trans: dgL
this is why i thought it was something that changed.
QUESTION: DOES THE RADIATOR HAVE A SELF CONTAINED COMPARTMENT SPECIFCIALLY FOR PURPOSE OF HAVE TRANNY FLUID RUN THROUGH IT? THEREFORE, IF THE RADIATOR SPRINGS A LEAK, THE TRANNY COOLER COMPARTMENT WITHIN THE RADIATOR WOULDN'T STILL BE ABLE TO DO ITS INTENDED SERVICE. IS THAT RIGHT?

It would be nice to know what year van. I read that after 2001 the condenser and trans cooler are one and the radiator doesn't have a trans cooler anymore. If you have a failed condensor and trans cooler sure sounds like something had to impact the front for both to fail!
It shows on the first post, that its a 06 grand caravan with a 3.8L. The a/c condenser is not part of the radiator transmission cooler. Or an aux cooler. But if have had an impact to cause both the condenser and cooler to leak at the same time, as 22dodge22 had said.
