I didnt see what kind of vehicle you had but i thought it was a caravan. If its the 3.3 you got to take the whole timing cover off. There is a tiny little set screw it will be on the right hand side of the pump at the top should be a phillps screw to take it off. The pump will fall out.

If its the 3.8 where the pump is back towards the firewall, you need to pry the motor towards the drivers side until the pulley comes out. To make it a little easier. take the 3 bolts out of the bottom of the front motor mount bracket (under the radiator).
P.S. be carefull what you pry on, I always pry on the tensioner mounting bolt.

I did a water pump on my dads Town and Country 3.8. The pulley came off really easy. Just had to pull off right front wheel and splash panel under van. The pump was right infront of my face. 3 13mm bolts for the pulley and 5 10mm bolts for the pump.

Here is a pretty good video of how to replace the pump.

I did not completly view the video but you need to lower the passenger side of the engine. The engine support is on the passenger side above the engine. Loosen the bolts on the support just enough to get the pully out, do not remove the bolts. Put the new pump on and then raise the engine and tighten the bolts.

Thanks everyone for all the input and help. I ended up loosening the 3 bolts on passenger side of engine little by little until it had just enough room to fall right out. If not for that ...this would have been a fairly quick job. Thanks again for everyones help!
