Default 2008 Caravan trailer towing prep/parts/advice

I have a 2008 SXT Caravan with a 3.8 and 6 spd tranny and am trying to make sure I set it up properly for towing a 1900 lb tent trailer, have bought the following parts and having the dealer install them.

1. Mopar hitch
2. Mopar 7 pin wiring harnass
3. Rubber spring helpers (Timbren load levelers)

The tent trailer has electric brakes but I do not see any Mopar electric brake controller systems or Mopar wiring for aftermarket controllers.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I do not want to have problems towing this trailer.

Thanks

Randy

Default Thanks

The dealer confirmed that they do lots of these and that I need to supply an aftermarket control unit with the wiring.

Well bought an FJ for trailer towing so these parts are up for sale and a decent discount.
