ok yest went out to do shopping. longer than normal drive. i notice at speeds 40-70km/hr that the tranny seemed to me be acting up a bit. like the gear was like dropped in. could feel it on the seat. was not a smooth shift. now i might be overreacting but hopefully nothing going on with tranny. this has less than 11,000km. mostly these couple months vehicle been driven short distances like 40km at most each way. so im thinking tranny trying to retrain?

 

mastertech if you could post the tranmissions 62te filter and oil replacement proceedure. i appriciate it.

 

The pan bolts are 8mm or 5/16, The tranmission is held into place with two 25 torques srcews and you'll to pull down the filter. The filter comes with a new seal,be careful when removing the seal. Because it is easy to damage the case. Use RTV to seal the pan and fill with ATF+4. The transmission holds 8 qts of fluid. I would buy 8 qts. There is also a dip stick the dealer uses to ck the fluid level. Before you change the filter, be sure you buy the dip stick first. If you need the part number, that way you can order it thru the dealer or miller tools. You may also find it on ebay too.
