Default oldie dodge caravan 1993: Relayers

Hello.

I've noticed when the relayers are new, the Automatic Speed Control works fine, and the gearbox upshift and downshifts changes work smooth.
When some relayer is "old" or maybe damaged, the gearbox sounds - jumps and it difficults the downshifts. And the automatic speed control does not maintains the speed.

I don't know what could make the relayers fail, i don't know if the quality or the Amperages - Volts .-. something.

I don't know iF you have some info about this: relayers working good when they are new, interfeering with the gearbox changes and automatic speed control.
Thank you again! best wishes.

If you think the van would run better with new relays, then replace them. You are right. overtime and amperage will cause a relay to fail. But so does having a short.
