Hello everyone! Hope everyone is having a good evening. I need some help with my van.

I'm having some issues with the passenger side sliding door. Its not really the door that has the issue, its the button that you press to unlock the door to slide it open.

Can anyone help me out?

I'm guessing the door is lock and you can't unlock it. The sliding door actuator maybe frozen, the only to find out is to remove the door panel.

 

Is the button you push not on the door? Can you unlock the door by pulling up the **** on the door?

If you can unlock the door manually then the motor in the actuator has probably failed. If that is the case then the actuator must be replaced or you can replace just the motor but not as easly done but much cheaper. The motor can be had off ebay.

The door panel will come off by removing the screw under the ash tray, then pry or pull off the panel. Take pictures as you go, it will help to put it back together if you have it apart for more than a day. I had mine apart for about 5 days waiting on the motor.
