Dodge CaravanThe Dodge Caravan is the best selling mini van from Dodge. How many Dodge Caravan owners here at DodgeForum.com would agree? Discuss it now!
We just purchased a 2010 Grand Caravan that was part of a fleet and the daytime running lights are currently activated. We took it in to the dealership to have them deactivated to install HID lights and the dealer was unable to deactivate them as their scan tool showed that they were already deactivated, but obviously working. The service manager said he has to send an email to Chrysler to have it changed from a fleet vehicle to a regular vehicle and then will be able to deactivate them. Has anyone had any experience with this or heard anything about it? Thanks.
I was wanting to do the same thing and use the signal lights as the DRL. I did this with a simple mod to the wiring on my GMC. I don't suppose Dodge can be done in this simple manner??

If you accidentally wire it up wrong you'll be out 800 bucks for a TIPM maybe even a CCN..... Not a good idea.
can the lights be turned off only when you open or close the doors? i went camping and its so anoying to have to open the car and have the headlights beam into someones tent.
