odometer, tach, speedometer, temperature gauge etc. What would be the likely cause after fuses and battery have been ruled out?

 

I recent;y bought a 97 Dodge Grand Caravan for the Fiance, She had the same problem, it started out as an Intermittent problem, then became a permanent issue... I found I could get it to work by beating on the dash on both sides of the steering wheel as a temp fix... but would be off again next time I start the van. So I tore the dash apart to fine a lose connection on the instrument panel wiring harness connector to the board.
