Key cycle method

Heard when engine light comes on go get it scanned or try key cycle

Please explain what key cycle means.

Im no expert but when you need to ' key cycle ' it usually means to turn the ignition off and on about 3 times.

Others will be by to explain better if im wrong.

Thats correct, Some models not all will give you a stored PCM code. But if you get a P0700 code, that doesn't mean thats the only code for the transmission. You would need to pull the codes out of the TCM.
