Dodge caravan to many codes, engine runs ok
I purchase a used 2002 dodge caravan and the tranny is stuck in 2nd gear.
for some reason i believe the tranny is ok and that the problem is electronic.
engine runs good but i have the check light on and this are the codes
1682 Charging System Voltage Too Low (i am going to put a volt meter)
0135 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
1299 Vacuum Leak Found (IAC Fully Seated)
1193 Inlet Air Temp. Circuit High
0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction
0106 Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Range/Performance Problem
besides the alternator
Any idea why there are so many codes, i don't believe all the sensors are bad
any way to find a schematic? i believe all the sensors share the same power
or the same grounds and they are not getting voltage
thank you

The transmission module may have some other stored codes in it. The reason the transmision is 2nd gear, is because the transmission is in what is called limp in or fail safe mode. As far as the other problems. Inspect the wire harness on the rear cylinder head, next to te power steering reservoir. There could be some melted wires.
