Thanks for your help, the fuse is good and the system is serviced. I had actually took it to Pep boys, they had it for three days, they tolld me , the control unit is not allowing the relay to close, and they did not have the right computer to diagnose the problem. They said I should take it to the dealer. The dealer is booked full for a week, so I am trying to fix it myself and save a few bucks.

I removed the a/c relay, and added a secondary switch under the dash, a/c works ok now. Sometime you have to be smarter than the average bear. ( save some $$$)

Til the compressor blows up because it can't cycle.

Basically a pretty simple system. The PCM looks at the pressure transducer and makes sure the pressure is in range. It also looks for the switch being pressed on the control panel. It grounds the relay to engage the clutch. the early years of the RS minivan ('01 - '03), the compressor would run itself low on oil and overheat. It might blow itself up internally or possibly melt the clutch out. Pretty common. So first check for freon in the system. Then jump the clutch to see if the compressor works. Then you might need access to a scan tool

I ran the A/c with the temp switch for a couple of monthes, until it locked up one day. Took it to dealer, compressor was still good ( smile) but the changed a temperture sensor in air duct, works great now. Thanks Tizzy1
