My 2003 caravan has all dash lights lit up...gear lights stay on or flash various lights(from drive to park to reverse to neutral without changing gears)...transmission works then stops working only to work again within 2 minute period...no speedometer...computer code gives P500 no vehicle speed sensor signal....when I do the key x3 it gonly gives me the p1684 code battery has been disconnected in the last 50 starts....nothing about the p500.....where do I start in trying to fix this problem???

Check the wiring going to the transmission. No speedo could be either a bad output sensor or the wiring going into the connector is coming apart.

 

I have located the sensors...just a quick question how many wires are supposed to be connected to each sensor...I have only 1 to the output and 2 to the input
