Default ac/heater issue

2003 dodge caravan, ac/heater blows normally in the back setting. The front setting, is almost not existant, no, high, no medium ,but the low is so slight I can barely feel it, I cannot hear the blower on the front, mechanic says it could be a wiring harness? any help would eb appreciated

most of the time it is a resistor issue. Power is supplied to the blower motor and then grounded through the resistor. Depending on the wire that is grounded is what speed you get.

It maybe the motor itself. Thats why tizzy said most of the time it maybe the resistor. In 99% of the time that would be the cause. The other 1% maybe wiring or a motor. I would try a known good motor, before replacing the motor.

Key at on/run, check for 12vdc at the blower motor connector. If it's there and the ground is good change the blower motor. A multimeter or even a test light will save you bucks, time, and many headaches.
