Hi!I have a 2003 Dodge grand caravan sport originaly with a 3.8l engine.This engine quit after only 156.000km.Now because a gas price I started to build a 1.6l turbodiesel Volkswagen engine in this van.I allready got it in,I started it,runs great but I got some issues with the alternator.Can anybody help me how to hook up the Volkswagen alternator to the Dodge harness so it can work with a Dodge system?Thank you!

 

Why not make a dodge alt fit the vw?

 

I can't putted on because than I have to modify a support again and I'm very limited in space that once and second the pulley didn't match so I'm gonna have a lot to modify again,and again I have not much space.But I got finaly running the alternator using only the big red wire from the battery.But now I have no tachometer running so my transmission doesn't shift right.When I rich 50 km/h I allready got all the gears and my engine of course can't pull very well.So anybody can help me with a diagram for the tachometer for my dodge(2003 Dodge grand caravan sport 3.8 liter)?Thank you!
