Default Left turn signal does NOT work! NOTHING!

I have a 1999 Dodge Caravan 3.3 flex fuel. When I bought it [a month ago], the dealer told me the left signal didn't work and that he had ordered the turn signal switch.

He replaced it today. It didn't work!! I have right turn signal and hazards but the left signal doesn't light. The bulbs are good.

He ordered the combination relay and I will put that in tomorrow. My question is, is it possible that the relay could be bad on just the left side?

There is no light on the dash when I use the left signal but I have the light when I turn on the hazards.

I am confused. If it is the BCM, then would other stuff not work too?
The rear wiper motor quit on me.

I am at a loss as to what the problem could be.

Thanks!!!

Yes the combo relay can be bad on one side. According to the wiring diagram for the 99 vans the BCM only turns on the dash turn sig lights when the combo flasher tells it to. It shouldn't effect the external lights.

It WORKS!!!! It was a BAD combo relay!!! The black part had a burn spot on the outside. Inside was almost 100% copper!! That is why it costs $60.00!!

Thank you SOO much!!!

UPDATE: Left turn signal still quits working but I think I know why!!

The clock spring/airbag warning light comes on and chimes. After the chiming stops and the Airbag light comes on and then goes off the left turn signal works...until the next time.

I will eventually get it fixed!

Odd. The turn signal circuit does not go through the clockspring.

I have a 1999 Dodge Caravan and my right turn signal is not working. If I activate the switch to the right and wait, after about 5 minutes it begins to flash and will continue to do so until I turn it off. If I turn it on immediately again to the right it will work. However if I wait about 30 seconds with it off it will not activate again until another 5 minutes. What do you suggest?

I have a 1999 Dodge Caravan and the right turn signal does not work. If I turn the right signal switch on it takes about 5 minutes before it starts flashing and will continue doing so until the flasher is deactivated. If you turn it off and right back on it works properly, but if you turn it off and wait 30 seconds and then turn it back on you have to wait again about 5 minutes before it starts working again. Suggestions please!
