its got the 3.8 in it replaced the fuel pump last weekend and friday coming home from work it starts sputtering and dies i restart it it will idle but as soon as i give it gas it sputters and almost dies today i replaced the fuel filter with no sucess

 

You are gonna need to check fuel pressure while this is happening.

Can you you hook up a fuel pressure gauge and post your finding as wtribeflyer had said.

 

do you think the pressure regulator might have gone out?

 

It could be a regulator valve or even the lines. Its always good to have too much information on a problem, than not enought.
