All was good until last night. Went through a puddle in store lot and van was back to old tricks. This time add headlight flash and windshield wiper cycle with each failed turn of the key. Finally started after 10 minutes.

 

Just guessing the bus circuit had failed, Do you still have warranty on the van? Because you are going to need the dealer to fix the bus circuit.

 

Has lifetime powertrain, otherwise, no.

 

If you have a bus failure, there should be some stored codes in multiple module. yeah, you'll need to hit the dealership again.
This problem goes to suck...
BUS problem can be Anything from bad wire to faulty module. which could be anywhere in the vehicle.

powertrain waranty only covers engine and trans mechanical parts, that means it only kicks in if ur engine throw a rod, or Trans needs rebuild/replaced. nothing more.

 

It is now a dealers problem. She traded the vehicle in last night on a newer vehicle. Thanks for the help, it is appreciated.
