Default 2001 Caravan Radio issues

Alright, so we got out old 2001 caravan running, new starter, brakes all around (drum brakes suck) runs pretty good for having 300,000 hard kms, and sitting for 2 years.

anyways, so i go to turn the radio on and all i hear is a loud click. theres no info displayed on the screen, its as if the whole system doesnt turn on at all. nothing works. no time or anything.

checked the fuse, all is well. any suggestions?

Remove the radio and check the power and grounds at the connectors, and check the antenna lead too.

K, pulled everything, all the wires are good, everything looks normal. So I'm guessing it's the unit itself so aftermarket radio should fix it right? Guessing speakers are fine cause the click is through them

Did you use a 12 volt test light or a DVOM to check the power and grounds?
