Default 05 Caravan

the wifes 05 , caravan , with 50 k is making a snapping noise from the sway bar inner brackets, I had replaced the inner bushing about 2 years ago , with chrsy updated bushings with the inner nylon sleave , then last year they started making a snapping , then replaced bushings again with chrys bushing , still making the snapping noise , even removed the nylon sleave , still makes the noise . ( you can put your hand on the bracket and feel the noise and then loosen the bracket and it goes away ) checked all the front end bolts , they are good and tight, you can loosen off the inner sway bar brackets and reposition them and they will be good for awhile then back to the snapping noise again. I'm an auto tech by trade and I have replaced alot of inner bushing and end links but never had one that snapps like this. anyone else have a caravan doing this ?

Welcome to DF
I would try driving without the sway bar to hear if the noise is gone. If its not gone then you may have a problem in the lower control arms or k-frame. Removing the sway bar is just to isolate the problem, not a fix.

I think ,I have figured it out, I had the van this morning instead late at night . I removed the sway bar brackets and where they hook up into the aluminum subframe there was a polished spot ( I had the bolts really tight ). so I took the bracket and put it in a vice and bent it just a bit, they bend very easy, 98 % of the noise is gone, it just does it once in awhile now. if it gets worse again , I'll buy some new sway bar inner brackets
