Default Problem with EVAP

Code P1494.
Problem with LDP (LEAK DETECT PUMP) or something else?

First of all remove EVAP solenoid and clean it hardly by WD-40:

In 2 days P1494 appears again...All harness OK.
Problem with LDP only or it may be with solenoid again and something else? How to fix this problem? By replace the LDP? Can i repair it?

P1494-LEAK DETECTION PUMP SW OR MECHANICAL FAULT

There is a leak detection pump for the fuel system. There is a switch in the pump to tell when the system has a vacuum or not. This code means that it actuates the purge solinoid and never see a change in the switch state of the LDP. So either your solinoid doesn't work, you have a gigantic leak in the system or the switch in the LDP is stuck. I have seen all 3, would lean toward the second or third option.

Thanks.
If I had a leak in EVAP system, I whould get code P0442 or P0455.
BCM gives me only P1494...
It seems my problem in LDP switch. Clean it or replace the LDP?

you can have a leak so big the switch in the LDP will never close. Then it sets the code you have. In the newer models it set the loose fill cap code. Most of the time it is the LDP itself, the switch sticks, but I have seen all 3 possibilities.

Check the canister hose coming out of the Purge solenoid behind the air cleaner. Also make sure the vacuum hose at the intake that supplies the purge is not off.

All hoses under the hood are OK (now).
I'll check out LDP and all hoses this weekend... again...
