Default 2005 GC door locks

Have the usual problem with the door locks not working. Got to the point where pulling the fuse got it to work for one push on the button so we just got by with manual locks (not too fun with only one door lock and two kids, one a baby). Anyway, I disconnected the battery and they started working again and have for some time but now the passenger sliding door will not unlock with the button.

I'm assuming this is the lock actuator. The lock **** sometimes shifts a little and once in a while fully locks or unlocks but mostly not. Is there any way to bring this back to working status or does it just need to be replaced? I'm hoping for an easy fix because after reading around this sounds like one of those PITA repairs that I'm going to put off until I can't stand the moaning from Mrs69 any longer

There is a flash update for the door locks, but you may need to replace the lock actuator on the sliding door.

I fixed the problem. Actuator was bad on the sliding door. Replaced the motor at a cost of about $4 and now it works like a champ.
