Default Small coolant leak

I have a 97 grand caravan 3.3. Have a small coolant leak that looks like it is leaking from the temperature sensor. It is located in the engine block, just to the left of the oil filter, and just to the right of where the lower radiator hose connects to the block (looking from underneath). Cant tell if it it leaking around or through the sensor. Is this indeed the temperature sensor (want to make sure before I order the replacement part)? and is it common for coolant to leak at this point? Thanks for all replies!!

The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor is on top of the engine next to the thermostat housing. You are looking at the engine oil pressure sender to the left of the oil filter.

The timing cover maybe leaking coolant which a common problem with the older vans. I would pressure check the cooling system and see where the leak is coming from.
