If you don't have a code reader, try disconnecting your battery for a half hour.

What code is turning on the light? Disconnect the CB radio then try the reset again.

Cycle the key from off to on three times within 5 seconds leaving it on (not start). The code should be displayed on the odometer. If that doesn't work head to an AutoZone or the like and have them do a free code scan.

I took my car to the shop to see why check engine light is they just called and said there is a conflict with the pcm will reset the code then I will have to drive it 100 miles. If the check engine ligt comes on agin I will have to take it back & they will replace the pcm if not I have to go get it inspected.

AutoZone has PCMs for around $300. Same for Autocomputerexchange.com. You send them your VIN #, they program the new one, you install it.
